The Earth's lithosphere serves as the foundation of major engineering projects, the resource of mineral mining, and the disposal site for human wastes, while its geological environment is closely related to and constrained by these engineering activities, especially as global climate change further complicates their interrelationships. This symposium aims to provide a platform for scientists, engineers, and professionals interested in these emerging interdisciplinary fields to exchange and collaborate, so as to promote the integration of multi-disciplines, and contribute to the sustainable development of geotechnical engineering and geological environment.
